Relevant letting fees and tenant protection information

As well as paying the rent, you may also be required to make the following permitted payments.

Holding Deposit: The equivalent of 1 weeks rent

This will be withheld if any relevant person (including any guarantor(s)) withdraw from the tenancy, fail a Right-to-Rent check, provide materially false or misleading information, or fail to sign and enter into contract within 15 calendar days (or other Deadline for Agreement as mutually agreed).

Security Deposit:

The equivalent of 5 weeks rent for tenancies with rents below 50,000 Per Annum

The equivalent of 6 weeks rent for tenancies with rents at or above 50,000 Per Annum

Late payment of Rent

Payment of interest for the late payment of rent at a rate of 3% over the Bank of England Base Rate. This will be levied if your rent remains unpaid for 14 Days.

Variation of Contract (Per Variation)

Payment of £50 (or reasonable costs incurred if higher) if you want to vary the terms of your tenancy

Early Termination

Payment of any unpaid rent and other reasonable costs associated with your early termination of the tenancy.

Loss of Keys or Security Devices

Tenants are liable for the cost of replacement keys / locks. If the loss requires replacement of the locks, the full cost of the locksmith, lock, keys (for Tenant, Landlord & any other party requiring a Key) will be charged to the tenant. Time spent will be charged at £15 Per Hour (Inc VAT).

Other permitted payments

Any other permitted payments, not included above, under the relevant legislation including contractual damages.
